Abstract:Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and simulation teaching method are both widely used teaching methods in medical education, which make up for the limitations of traditional teaching methods and are more suitable for the training goals of pediatric talents in the new era. The joint application of the two can make up for each other's shortcomings. This paper will analyze the application and existing problems of PBL and simulation teaching method in pediatric medical education based on the practice of the joint implementation of PBL by West China School of Clinical Medicine of Sichuan University and West China Second Hospital, and discuss how to combine the two teaching methods to complement each other and achieve the optimal teaching effect through application examples.
