Menopausal period is a natural stage for women to transition from childbearing age to old age, and the clinical manifestations of different women during this period are significantly different. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and summarize the relevant literature and guidelines at home and abroad, and to explore the development of menopause from different perspectives from basic research to clinical specialty construction, so as to help medical staff in clinical and health care fields to understand the frontier and discipline progress of menopause health care research, more scientifically prevent and treat menopause-related diseases, and standardize the construction of menopause health care specialty.
