Abstract:Implementing the new era of “All-round Education” has emphasized the importance of scientific research training in developing diverse and highly qualified medical professionals. However, due to the numerous undergraduate courses and limited teaching resources, there is still no mature training model for scientific research education for medical undergraduates. How to systematically cultivate the scientific research capabilities of medical undergraduates is still an urgent problem in the field of medical education. The Elite Academic Team of Thoracic Surgery innovatively proposed a “Pre-system”scientific research training model,which advances scientific research education to the early stage of undergraduate studies ,and drew on the adoption of the mentor system to integrate into the team, the master-apprentice model to cooperate, and the theoretical integration of practical training mode, focuses on cultivating medical students" literature reading, experimental skills, paper writing, academic science popularization, clinical skills, and social responsibility.Through seven years of experience in building scientific research teams for medical undergraduates,the model achieves fruitful results in scientific research and education.? “Pre-system”scientific research training model has improved the scientific research ability of medical undergraduates and is expected to provide a theoretical reference for the reform of the scientific research ability training system of medical undergraduates.
