Abstract:Under the framework of “New medical sciences”, the integration of Artificial intelligence (AI) in education is becoming increasingly evident. Currently, the application of AI in higher medical education remains notably insufficient. Pharmacology, a fundamental core course for pharmacy students, is characterized by its complex content and rapid updates, which often pose significant challenges to learners. This paper focuses on teaching "Organophosphates" as an example, utilizing large AI models and online teaching platforms. It explores the application of AI in pharmacology teaching through pre-class preparation, in-class implementation, and post-class consolidation. The aim is to enhance student initiative in learning, achieve personalized learning experiences, cultivate their clinical thinking and innovation abilities, and provide a reference for AI-assisted teaching in pharmacology courses. By fully leveraging the advantages of AI in medical education, this approach seeks to develop well-rounded and innovative top medical talents.
