Abstract:Objective: To analyze the application effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment for alcoholic pancreatitis and conduct a comparative study. Methods: 103 patients with alcoholic pancreatitis admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to March 2025 were randomly divided into an observation group52 cases, and a control group51 case, using a random sequence method. The control group received routine Western medicine treatment, while the observation group received integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Including treatment efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions, length of hospital stay, quality of life score outside the hospital, and compliance rate outside the hospital. Results: The observation group had a higher effective rate of treatment, higher quality of life score outside the hospital, higher compliance rate outside the hospital, and shorter hospitalization time. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups of patients was similar, and there was no statistically significant difference between the groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment for alcoholic pancreatitis has certain positive value. The treatment efficacy is high, the treatment time is short, the quality of life and compliance rate outside the hospital are high, and it does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions in patients. The safety is reliable. In future work, it can be valued and promoted.
