Abstract:Objective:? To analyze the application effect of single-port breast endoscope through axillary approach in the resection of benign breast tumors. Methods:? A total of 60 patients with benign breast tumors admitted to General Surgery Department of the First People"s Hospital of Longnan were enrolled between May 2019 and May 2023. According to random number table method, they were divided into endoscope group (single-port breast endoscope lipolysis resection through axillary approach) and traditional group (traditional open resection), 30 cases in each group. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, average length of hospital stay, incision degree, postoperative satisfaction and incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results: The intraoperative blood loss, length of hospital stay, incision length and postoperative VAS score in endoscope group were significantly better than those in traditional group (P<0.05). However, operation time in endoscope group was significantly longer than that in traditional group (P<0.05). At 1 month after surgery, satisfaction with cosmetic effect of the breast in endoscope group was significantly higher than that in traditional group [93.33% (28/30) vs 73.33% (22/30), P<0.05]. There was no significant difference in total incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups? (P Fisher"s exact test>0.999). Conclusion: Although single-port breast endoscope through axillary approach has slightly long operation time in the resection of benign breast tumors, it has advantages such as less bleeding, faster recovery, mild pain and concealed scars, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
