Objective: To assess low-temperature plasma ablation for epiglottic cysts(EC) via laryngoscopy, measuring perioperative outcomes and complications. Methods: This study included 60 EC patients and randomly divided into experimental group (low-temperature plasma knife resection) and control group (Throat dissection surgery) between January 2021 and July 2025. The perioperative indexes and score of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS)] were compared between the two groups. The postoperative response rate and the occurrence of complications were statistically analyzed. Results: The perioperative indicators and VAS scores of the experimental group were lower (P<0.05).The experimental group had a higher overall effective rate and fewer complications (P<0.05). Conclusion: Laryngoscopic low-temperature plasma ablation has advantages (little trauma, fast recovery, few complications) and good clinical effect in EC, which will not significantly increase the risk of complications.
