Abstract:Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of electronic bronchoscopy lavage and airway clearance in patients with bronchiectasis complicated with infection. Methods: 102 patients with bronchiectasis complicated with infection admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to April 2025 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method, with 51 cases in each group. The control group received conventional clinical treatment. The observation group was treated with electronic bronchoscopy lavage combined with airway clearance on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects, lung functions, symptom improvement (fever reduction time and cough expectoration time, imaging lesion absorption time), changes in blood gas indicators and serum inflammatory factor indicators of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Result The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the FVC, PEF and FEV1 of both groups were significantly increased compared with those before treatment, and the FVC, PEF and FEV1 of the observation group after treatment were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The time for fever reduction, cough expectoration and absorption of imaging lesions in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the PaO2 in both groups increased significantly compared with that before treatment, and the PaCO2 decreased significantly compared with that before treatment. Moreover, the PaO2 in the observation group after treatment was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the PaCO2 was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the PCT, IL-6 and CRP in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the PCT, IL-6 and CRP in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: For patients with bronchiectasis complicated with infection, the treatment of electronic bronchoscopy lavage combined with airway clearance can improve the therapeutic effect, improve lung function and symptoms, improve blood gas indicators, and relieve inflammation.
