Objective: To analyze the efficacy of compound zedoary turmeric oil suppository combined with anti HPV β - glucan functional dressing in the treatment of perinatal human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and its impact on inflammatory indicators. Methods: A prospective study was conducted on 94 patients with perinatal HPV infection admitted from January 2020 to January 2025. Random number table method was used for grouping, with 47 cases in the monotherapy group treated with anti HPV β - glucan functional dressing and 47 cases in the combination group treated with compound zedoary turmeric oil suppository combined with anti HPV β - glucan functional dressing. After 3 months of treatment, HPV virological indexes of the two groups were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR, local and systemic inflammatory indexes and pH value were detected by chemiluminescence immunoassay, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and special pH test paper, and the safety indexes of the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the HPV-DNA load increased in both groups, with the combination group higher than the monotherapy group, E6/E7 mRNA decreased, and the combination group lower than the monotherapy group. Additionally, the HPV clearance rate in the combination group was higher than that in the monotherapy group (P<0.05); After treatment, the levels of interferon gamma increased in both groups, with the combination group being higher than the monotherapy group. Local levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), pH, and serum tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) decreased, while the combination group was lower than the monotherapy group (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in the incidence of local adverse reactions, systemic adverse reactions, abnormal pregnancy process, and adverse reactions during delivery between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The combination of compound zedoary turmeric oil suppository and anti HPV β - glucan functional dressing has a significant effect on clearing the virus of perinatal HPV infection, and can improve local and systemic inflammatory indicators in patients, with high safety.
