Abstract:Objective: To explore the effectiveness and safety of Xinshenghua tablets combined with femoston on the prevention of intrauterine adhesions (IUA) after artificial abortion. Methods: 70 patients who underwent artificial abortion to terminate early pregnancy in the hospital from January 2025 to June 2025 were collected and divided into group A (n=35, femoston) and group B (n=35, Xinshenghua tablets combined with femoston) according to the dosage regimen. The incidence rate of IUA, menstrual recovery conditions, endometrial thickness, blood flow parameters [resistance index (RI), pulsatility index (PI)] and incidence rates of adverse reactions were compared between groups. Results: At 1 month after surgery, the incidence rate of IUA in group A was higher than that in group B, and the menstrual recovery conditions in group B were better than those in group A (P<0.05). After treatment, the endometrial thickness in the two groups was thickened, and the RI and PI were decreased, and the endometrial thickness in group B was thicker, and the RI and PI were lower than those in group A (P<0.05). There were no obvious differences in the incidence rates of adverse reactions between groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Xinshenghua tablets combined with femoston can effectively reduce the incidence rate of IUA after artificial abortion, and promote the postoperative endometrial repair and menstrual recovery, with good safety.
