Abstract:Objective: To explore the clinical effect of Tianma Gouteng Decoction combined with Naoxintong Capsules in the treatment of sequelae of stroke caused by qi deficiency and blood stasis. Method: 78 patients with post-stroke sequelae admitted to our hospital from February 2023 to August 2024 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into the control group (n=39) and the observation group (n=39) according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with Naoxintong Capsules. The observation group was treated with Tianma Gouteng Decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups continued the medication for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy and serum-related indicators [Nerve Growth Factor (NGF), Brain-derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), Interleukin-1β (IL-1β), Tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)], limb rehabilitation effect [Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA), Functional Independence Measure (FIM)] and the incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Result: The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum NGF and BDNF in both groups were significantly increased compared with those before treatment, and the levels of IL-1β and TNF-α were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment. Moreover, the changes in the levels of serum NGF, BDN, IL-1β and TNF-α in the observation group after treatment were significantly greater than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the FMA and FIM scores of both groups were significantly increased compared with those before treatment, and the FMA and FIM scores of the observation group after treatment were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). During the treatment period, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Tianma Gouteng Decoction and Nao Xin Tong Capsules in the treatment of sequelae of qi deficiency and blood stasis type stroke can improve the therapeutic effect, regulate the expression of neurotrophic factors, reduce inflammatory responses, promote the recovery of motor function of hemiplegic collateral, and has relatively high safety.
