Abstract:Objective: To investigate the curative effect of entecavir (ETV) and polyene phosphatidylcholine (PPC) combined with reduced glutathione (GSH) in viral hepatitis B. Methods: According to random number table method, 60 patients with viral hepatitis B treated in Yudu County Second People"s Hospital were divided into experimental group (ETV and PPC) and control group (ETV, PPC and GSH) between February 2023 and February 2025, 30 cases in each group. The curative effect, liver function indexes [aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBIL), alanine aminotransferase (ALT)] and liver fibrosis indexes [hyaluronic acid (HA), laminin (LN), type III procollagen (PCIII)] in the two groups were observed. Results: After treatment, curative effect was significantly better in experimental group than control group, AST, TBIL, ALT, HA, LN and PCIII were significantly lower in experimental group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was comparable (P>0.05). Conclusion: ETV combined with PPC and GSH can better improve clinical curative effect, recover liver function, relieve liver fibrosis and will not increase the risk of adverse reactions in patients with viral hepatitis B.
