Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of liquid based thin layer cell examination (TCT) combined with human papillomavirus (HPV) in cervical cancer screening. Methods 100 patients who underwent cervical cancer screening in our hospital from August 2022 to September 2024 were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent TCT, HPV and colposcopic biopsy. Colposcopic biopsy results were used as the "gold standard" to analyze colposcopic biopsy results, TCT, HPV and combined examination results. To analyze the application value of TCT, HPV and combined examination in cervical cancer screening. Consistency of analysis, TCT, HPV, and combined tests with the "gold standard" diagnosis. Results The diagnostic value of TCT and HPV combined examination in cervical cancer was significantly higher than that of single examination of TCT and HPV (P < 0.05). Consistency test showed that the combination of TCT and HPV showed strong consistency in the diagnosis of cervical cancer (kappa=0.940, P=0.000). Conclusion The combined detection of TCT and HPV has high application value in cervical cancer screening, which is helpful to improve the diagnostic efficiency of cervical cancer, and is consistent with the "gold standard".
