Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Fangji Huangqi Decoction combined with sequential dialysis in patients with intractable edema of nephrotic syndrome. Methods: 120 patients with intractable edema of nephrotic syndrome diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected as research objects. Patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received sequential dialysis treatment; Observation group was treated with Fangji Huangqi decoction on the basis of control group. The therapeutic effect, edema degree, renal function (urea nitrogen, creatinine, uric acid levels), inflammatory markers [serum interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), C-reactive protein (CRP) levels] and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results: The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the degree of mild, moderate and severe edema in the observation group was significantly lower than that before treatment, and the degree of moderate edema in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of urea nitrogen, creatinine and uric acid in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the levels of urea nitrogen, creatinine and uric acid in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6, TNF-α and CRP in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the levels of inflammatory factors in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Fangji Huangqi Decoction and sequential dialysis can improve the therapeutic effect, reduce the degree of edema, improve renal function and relieve inflammation, with high safety.
