Objective To investigate the clinical effects of hysteroscopic electroresection of endometrial polyps (TCRP) and conventional hysteroscopic curettage in the treatment of endometrial polyps (EMP). Methods 88 patients with EMP admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects. The patients were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional hysteroscopic curettage. The study group was treated by hysteroscopic electroresection of endometrial polyps. The perioperative indexes, surgical recovery and complications of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results Compared with the control group, the amount of intraoperative blood loss and postoperative vaginal bleeding time in the study group were significantly reduced (P < 0.05). However, there were no significant differences in operation time and hospital stay between the two groups (P > 0.05). Before operation, there were no significant differences in menstrual volume scores and endometrial thickness between the two groups (P > 0.05). After surgery, the scores of menstrual volume and endometrial thickness in both groups were significantly lower than those before surgery, and the scores of menstrual volume and endometrial thickness in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The complication rate of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Hysteroscopic electroresection of endometrial polyps in patients with EMP can reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss, shorten the time of vaginal bleeding, promote the recovery of endometrial function and reduce complications.
