Abstract:Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Qingfei Huatan Huoxue Decoction combined with ambroterol oral liquid on children with mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods: 90 children with mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to the Department of Pediatrics in our hospital from April 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects. The children were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ambroterol oral liquid, and the observation group was treated with Qingfei Huatan Huoxue Decoction combined with ambroterol oral liquid. The effective rate of treatment, TCM syndrome score, levels of inflammatory factors [serum C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)] and occurrence of adverse reactions were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, TCM syndrome scores in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the scores of major and minor syndromes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of CRP and ESR in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the levels of CRP and ESR in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Qingfei Huatan Huoxue Decoction combined with ambroterol oral liquid in the treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia can improve the overall therapeutic effect, reduce the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine and inflammation of children, and have high safety.
