Abstract:Objective: To observe the effect of Quyu Xiaoteng Decoction combined with Lengluliang dissipating external application on postoperative rehabilitation of patients with distal radius fracture. Methods: 86 patients with distal radius fracture who received surgical treatment in the traumatology department of our hospital from March 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects. The control group was treated with external application of Lengluliang dissipating, the observation group was treated with Quyu Xiaoteng decoction combined with external application of Lengluliang dissipating. Symptom remission time, TCM syndrome score, bone metabolism index [type I collagen cross-linked carboxyl terminal peptide (CTX-Ⅰ), tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase 5b (TRACP5b)] and wrist function recovery were observed and compared between the two groups. Results: The pain relief time and wrist swelling reduction time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group (P < 0.05). After 8 weeks of treatment, the scores of major and minor syndroms in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the scores of major and minor syndroms in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After 8 weeks of treatment, CTX-Ⅰ and TRACP5b levels in both groups were decreased, and CTX-Ⅰ and TRACP5b levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The recovery rate of wrist joint function in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Quyu Xiaozhong Decoction combined with Lengluliang dissipating external application for postoperative rehabilitation intervention of patients with distal radius fracture can achieve rapid analgesia, relieve joint swelling, accelerate fracture healing and promote the recovery of wrist joint function.
