Objective To observe the effects of Baogongzhixing granules combined with ethoestradiol cyproterone on sex hormone and endometrial thickness in patients with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB). Methods 82 patients with AUB admitted to our hospital from August 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects. Patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ethoestradiol cyproterone, and the observation group was treated with Bao Gong Zhixue granule on the basis of control group. The clinical efficacy, sex Hormone levels [Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), Estradiol (E2), and follicle-stimulating hormone (LH) and Progesterone (P)], endometrial thickness, and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). The levels of FSH, LH, E2 and P after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the levels of sex hormones in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The endometrial thickness of the two groups was significantly reduced after treatment, and the endometrial thickness of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion Baogongzhixing granules combined with ethoestradiol cyproterone can improve the therapeutic effect, improve the level of sex hormones and inhibit endometrial hyperplasia in the treatment of patients with abnormal uterine bleeding, with high safety.
