Abstract:To explore the influence of air pollutants on respiratory diseases in Shuangliu District of Chengdu. The study collected and analyzed meteorological and outpatient data from December 22 to December 23, and this study assessed the association between atmospheric pollutant concentrations and the number of respiratory disease cases among college students using statistical correlation analysis methods. The meteorological data came from the Shuangliu District Meteorological Bureau in Chengdu, while the outpatient data came from the records of the local university hospitals. Several influencing factors were considered, including seasonal variation, and the concentrations of specific air pollutants (e. g., PM2.5, SO2, and CO). The results indicate a positive relationship between increased atmospheric pollutant concentrations and increased.
